How Rosie keeps your data secure

Rosie is built to protect your data.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

We are serious about protecting your privacy and securing your data. We understand that you have questions about how your data is handled and who has access to it. Please contact us at data-security@askrosie.ai and we'll be happy to go into details about how your data is handled.

Can I use Rosie at work?

Rosie is designed to integrate seamlessly into professional environments. Careful handling of sensitive company information is a critical aspect of your job and Rosie is built from the ground up with this in mind. We can talk directly with your legal and compliance teams to ensure Rosie is a good fit for your workplace—send us an email at data-security@askrosie.ai to get started.

Should I log into Rosie with my personal account or my work account?

For optimal security and compliance, especially within organizational settings, using your work or school account to log in to Rosie is recommended. This ensures that your interactions with Rosie are managed under your organization's data policies and provides better control over access and data retention. Personal accounts are supported equally by Rosie, but they do not offer the same level of integration with organizational security measures.

Does Rosie have access to my Excel workbook files?

Only the specific Excel workbook you open using our plugin is accessed. No other files on your computer are accessed. Rosie will only access your workbook during your conversation session. Each Rosie account is isolated from other accounts to prevent access to another user's data.

Who has access to my Rosie conversations?

Your conversations with Rosie are confidential and accessible only to you. Strict access controls and encryption-at-rest protect your conversations from unauthorized access. Additionally, your conversation data is not used for training models.

Industry Standard Data Security Measures

Your data is safeguarded using AES-256 encryption while at rest. This robust encryption standard ensures that your information is securely stored and remains inaccessible to unauthorized users.

Key Vendors and Data Handling

Trusted vendors, including OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), are used for AI services and data storage. Both Rosie AI and these vendors adhere to strict data handling policies to ensure that your data is never used for training models or other unauthorized purposes.

Internal Security Controls

Access to sensitive information is strictly limited to authorized personnel only.
